LARBO publishes buyer guides, product specifications and manufacturing notes for importers, distributors and private-label brands sourcing barware from China. This page explains who creates that content, how we verify it, and how we handle corrections. We review this policy at least once a year.

Who Writes and Reviews Our Content

Our content is written and reviewed by the LARBO team in Yongkang, Zhejiang — the barware manufacturing hub where our company has operated since 2007. Our principal author is Maggie Hu, Founder & Managing Director, who has led OEM and private-label barware projects for buyers in more than 56 countries. Articles about materials, tooling and quality control are additionally reviewed by our production and QC staff before publication. Where a page carries a byline, that person is accountable for its accuracy.

Our factory data, headcount and capacity figures are published on our About page, and are reviewed on the same schedule as the rest of this site.

How We Verify Product Specifications

We treat specifications as data, not marketing copy. Unless a page states otherwise:

  • Dimensions and weights are taken from production samples using calibrated measuring tools, not copied from supplier catalogues.
  • Capacities are measured with graduated cylinders at room temperature and rounded to the nearest commonly quoted volume.
  • Material grades (for example 304 or 430 stainless steel) are confirmed against mill certificates and our incoming-material records.
  • Surface finishes are described using the finish actually applied — mirror polish, satin, hammered, powder coating, PVD, and so on.
  • Where a figure is an estimate rather than a measurement, we label it as such, and we state tolerances for machined and hand-finished parts.

Compliance and Testing Claims

We are careful to describe compliance accurately and to claim only what we can document.

  • When we say a product can pass LFGB or FDA food-contact testing, we mean that the materials and processes we use are capable of meeting that standard — it is a capability statement, not a claim that every item carries a certificate.
  • When we state that a product has been tested, we hold a test report on file and can provide it on request, naming the standard and the issuing laboratory.
  • We distinguish between different regimes rather than lumping them together: FDA refers to US food-contact material requirements under 21 CFR; LFGB is the German Food and Feed Code test; Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011 are the EU food-contact framework and plastics measures; SGS and Intertek are testing bodies that issue reports against those standards.
  • We do not describe a product as “certified” unless a certificate exists that we can show you.

Our Sources and Standards

Our guides are based on our own production and export records — tooling drawings, incoming inspection sheets, QC logs and shipping documents — together with published standards and regulations. Where we reference an external standard we name it so that you can read it yourself. We avoid vague appeals to unnamed “studies” or “industry experts”.

Review and Update Schedule

Because materials, prices and regulations change, buying guides are reviewed at least annually and updated whenever a specification, lead time or compliance position changes. Each page shows the date it was last updated, and we do not silently rewrite pages that already carry a date.

Corrections and Feedback

If you believe something we have published is inaccurate, tell us and we will look into it. Email us at sales@cnlarbo.com with the page link and the specific point you are querying. We aim to respond within five business days. Where a correction is warranted we update the page and, for substantive factual changes, note what was changed.

Independence and Commercial Disclosure

LARBO is a manufacturer, and our site describes and sells our own products — we do not pretend otherwise. We do not accept payment for product rankings or favourable reviews, and we do not publish sponsored articles. Where a page mentions a customer, project or third-party brand, it appears because it is relevant to the point being made, not because it was paid for.

Use of AI Tools

We may use AI-assisted tools for drafting, translation and editing. Every page is reviewed and approved by a member of our team before it is published, and specifications are verified against physical samples and our own records — they are never generated by a tool. If you spot wording that looks machine-written or out of date, please flag it using the contact above.
