630 ml hammered Moscow mule cup

  • 630 ml (21.3 oz) jumbo single-serve format — the largest cup in our copper mule family, built for oversized pours, two-to-share serves and 21 oz “tall pour” menus
  • Extra-wide Ø80 mm mouth — swallows full-size craft ice cubes and generous garnishes with room to spare; the wide opening also takes sugared and juice rims cleanly
  • Rounded belly silhouette with a curved copper handle — classic barrel-mule shape that feels comfortable in the hand and stays stable on busy bar rails; the wide 80 mm belly expands the hammered surface for stronger visual impact
  • Hand-hammered dimple body pressed into the steel before plating — the widest hammered canvas in the range, with a food-safe lacquered copper exterior and uncoated silver stainless interior (no copper taste, no solid-copper tarnish to polish)
  • MOQ 500 pcs · custom logo, packaging & PVD finishes · free samples — same Ø80 mm tooling runs in brushed nickel, black PVD, gunmetal and antique brass

Description

Product Overview

The 630 ml hammered Moscow mule cup is the big-format member of our copper family — a full 21.3-ounce single serve in a rounded belly barrel-mule silhouette with a curved copper handle. Measuring Ø80 × H110 mm, it keeps the proportions bartenders and customers recognize, while the extra-wide belly expands the hand-hammered surface so the dimple texture reads clearly from across the bar. The 80 mm opening does things a standard mug cannot: it takes full-size craft ice cubes, holds a generous lime wheel or rosemary sprig without crushing them, and leaves headroom for a proper sugared rim. The body is hand-hammered — dimples pressed into the 304 stainless sheet before copper plating — so the texture shows through the finish as genuine facets. Inside, the drinking surface is raw silver stainless steel; outside, copper plating sealed with food-safe lacquer delivers the iconic color without the maintenance of solid copper.

Three-Layer Construction

Layer (outside → inside) Function
① Clear food-safe lacquer Locks in the copper color; blocks tarnish, fingerprints and water spots
② Copper plating (20 µm) Gives the classic copper look and the frost line a chilled mug is famous for; plated OVER the hammer marks so the texture stays visible
③ 304 stainless steel core (0.6 mm) The structural and food-contact body — rust-proof, dent-resistant, built for volume service
Drink contact surface Uncoated 304 stainless (silver) — neutral taste, safe for acidic ginger beer and citrus

The Wide-Mouth Jumbo Advantage

Why choose a 630 ml cup when 500–600 ml mules are the norm? Because the extra capacity plus the 80 mm opening open up serving formats a standard mug physically can’t handle:

  • Full-size craft ice — 50 mm clear cubes and speared ice blocks drop straight in; a Ø65–70 mm mug forces you to crack them down, which waters the drink faster
  • 21 oz “tall pour” menus — US sports bars and volume venues sell 21 oz+ copper servings; 630 ml delivers exactly that portion with headroom for fizz
  • Rim work — the wide, even rim takes sugar, Tajín and dehydrated-citrus rims in an unbroken band
  • Two-to-share serves — one 630 ml cup with two straws is a profitable, Instagram-friendly format for couples and tasting flights
  • Handled comfort at jumbo size — the curved copper handle makes a 21 oz cup easy to lift and pass, even when the outside is chilled

Material & Craftsmanship

Each cup is deep-drawn from a single sheet of 304 stainless steel, then hand-hammered by skilled workers — the dimples are pressed into the steel, not printed or etched onto the surface. The hammered body is then copper-plated to a uniform 20 µm and sealed with a clear food-safe lacquer, so the texture reads through the plating as real facets that catch the light. The uncoated silver interior keeps ginger beer, lime juice and vodka tasting exactly as they should — the classic Moscow mule flavor triangle with zero metallic interference. The rounded belly shape and curved handle are drawn from the same sheet family as the rest of our mule range, so the silhouette looks intentional on a shelf set while the wide base keeps the cup steady on trays, ice buckets and bar rails during rush service.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your MOQ for the 630 ml hammered mule cup?

500 pieces per SKU for the stock copper + silver finish, and the same 500 pieces applies to custom logo orders. You can mix this 630 ml cup with other capacities and finishes (e.g. 630 ml + 500 ml + black PVD) in one container, which lowers the effective per-SKU minimum.

Why 630 ml instead of the usual 600 ml?

630 ml equals 21.3 US fluid ounces — the portion size volume venues actually sell as a “21 oz copper mug” drink. A 600 ml cup filled with a standard ice load reaches the brim with no headroom, while the 630 ml holds the same recipe with room for fizz and a rim. Same shelf footprint, better pour economics.

Is this cup solid copper?

No — and that is deliberate. Nearly all “copper mugs” on the professional market are 304 stainless steel with copper plating, because solid copper tarnishes daily, requires polishing, and is not recommended for acidic drinks like ginger beer. Our construction keeps the iconic copper look while the uncoated stainless interior handles citrus and carbonation without any metallic taste or upkeep.

Can I get a sample before bulk order?

Yes. Free samples are available for the stock copper + silver finish (you cover courier cost, typically USD 30–60 by DHL / FedEx). For custom PVD finishes or custom logo prototypes, sample fees are USD 50–300, refunded against your bulk order.

What is the lead time?

20–50 days (depends on quantity) from deposit to ex-factory. Sea freight to North America adds 18–25 days; to Europe 28–35 days. Air freight is available for time-sensitive orders.

How much logo space does the cup have?

At Ø80 mm, this is the largest branding canvas in our hammered copper range — enough for a logo plus a tagline or small pattern band. Laser engraving works especially well here: it burns through the copper layer to reveal bright stainless, giving a sharp two-tone mark that follows the hammer texture.
