Double-Wall Insulation

The mug is drawn as two walls of 304 stainless steel with a vacuum between them. That airless gap is what slows heat transfer: cold beer stays cold far longer than in a single-wall mug, and because the outer wall never chills, there is no condensation to wipe off the table or the label. It is the same principle behind a travel tumbler, applied to a full-size beer mug.
